1. What we provide

  • A market: a place where users post ads to buy or sell ETH on Robinhood Chain, and answer each other's ads.
  • An escrow: a smart contract (the vault) that holds the seller's ETH during a trade and pays it out on release, refund or a dispute decision.
  • We are not a party to the payment between users and we do not hold or transmit fiat money. Buyers pay sellers directly.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with X. Your handle and trade history are visible to other traders.
  • You are responsible for the wallets you use and for keeping access to them. On-chain transfers can't be undone.
  • We may ask for identity verification, and limit, refuse or end trades or accounts, for example to prevent fraud.

3. Trading rules

  • Trade sizes, payment windows, fees and price limits are listed in the docs and shown before each trade.
  • Pay and get paid from accounts in your own name. Keep all communication and proof in the trade chat.
  • Sellers: release only once the payment is settled in your own account. A release is final.
  • Moving a deal outside the platform removes the escrow and any dispute process.

4. Fees

  • Sellers pay 1% of the ETH sold, taken from the escrow on release. Buying is free.
  • Payment services may charge their own fees; those are between you and them.

5. Disputes

  • Either side can open a dispute when the rules allow it. The ETH stays in escrow until our team decides.
  • We decide on the evidence in the trade: chat, receipts, account histories, transaction IDs. The decision is executed on-chain and is final.

6. Risks

  • Crypto prices move fast. The price is fixed when a trade opens.
  • Some payments can be reversed after a release (card-funded payments, some bank transfers, stolen gift cards).
  • Using a payment service to trade crypto may be restricted by its own terms; you are responsible for using it within them.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on your trades.
  • Smart contracts and networks can fail. We publish the vault's address and every movement on the Proof of escrow page.

7. Privacy

  • We store your X profile (handle, name, picture), your wallet addresses, your ads, trades and trade chat.
  • Payment details (emails, phone numbers, IBANs…) are encrypted at rest and only shown to your counterparty once the ETH is in escrow, and to our team in a dispute.
  • We don't sell your data.

8. Changes

  • We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date.
